Enjoy the beach in Dorum-Neufeld with your four-legged friends, featuring a spacious dog area and off-leash zone, beach chairs, numerous dog rest areas, and a dog shower. During the off-season (from mid-September to the end of April), you can visit all beaches with your dog at any time.
In Spieka-Neufeld, you’ll find a 6-km circular hiking trail for dogs. This green-marked trail takes you and your loved ones through breathtaking natural scenery, right past grazing cows and sheep. Just start walking and set out on a journey of discovery together.
Dog Beach Dorum-Neufeld
The dog beach in Dorum-Neufeld, like the rest of the beach, is a green beach right on the Wadden Sea. Here, your four-legged friend can enjoy a spacious dog area with an off-leash zone, beach chairs, numerous dog restrooms, and a dog shower.
Dog Hiking Loop Spieka-Neufeld
In Spieka-Neufeld, you’ll find a circular dog-friendly hiking trail marked with green signs. This 6-kilometer route takes you and your four-legged friend through breathtaking natural scenery, right past grazing cows and sheep. Just set off and go on a journey of discovery together.
Sahlenburg Dog Beach
Your four-legged friend is sure to love the dog beach in the Sahlenburg resort area. That’s because your dog has direct access to the water here. Since it’s the only dog beach in Cuxhaven with fine sand, your four-legged friend will naturally never get enough of digging here. There’s a drinking water station, a shower for your dog, and a restroom.
Döse Dog Beach
The Döse section of the resort is located west of Grimmershörn. There’s a grassy beach area here where your dog can spend a lovely day with you. However, there’s no access to the sandy beach or the water for your dog. Instead, you can take your four-legged friend on a lovely walk along the dike all the way to the Kugelbake. Or you can walk in the other direction to the heavy-duty ramp in Duhnen.
