The following are fully exempt from the visitor's fee:

  • Children up to age 3 (Definition "full year of age")
  • People with severe disabilities, who, according to their official identification, have a 100% disability rating
  • Accompanying Persons persons with severe disabilities who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependent on constant assistance (official ID card marked with the letter “B”), provided they do not use the tourist facilities on their own.

Definition of Age

When calculating age, the day of birth however including (Section 187(2), second sentence, of the German Civil Code (BGB)).
For example, anyone who, on the October 10 was born in 2003 at 5:02 p.m., has on October 9 2021 at 12:00 a.m. has reached the age of 18 under the law.
